A short distance from the Ports (St Malo, Caen & Cherbourg) through the beautiful French countryside brings you to our cottage.

Drive up the road by the side of the lake, take a right turn and you are in a typically French country lane, with a handful of stone built properties - an idyllic rural retreat. Whether you would like to feel lazy and relax, or be more energetic we feel sure you will enjoy our cosy retreat.

It couldn't be more peaceful, was our impression when we first came to this area of Brittany. With views of the lake from our bedroom window, our 3/4 bedroom cottage has it all.

You decide whether you would like to park your car for the week and rest or maybe walk or cycle (there is a cycle track around the lake).

But first let us tell you a little about the area:

• Our two daily visitors to the lane are le postie, the postman, and Renee herding his cows to the milking shed, yet we are only 5 minutes away from the pretty French town of Ploermel.
• If you are feeling more active take advantage of the wonderful choice of water sports available a bit further along the lake side (a few mins by car) .
• There is a golf course not far from the cottage.
  Also nearby are two villages with shops & small cafes.
